2010 PFP Women Division

		Newcomers' Club and Women's Group 2009 Third Place Winner Newcomers' Club and Women's Group of the YWCA Princeton. This is the fourth year our clubs' members have participated in this fun-filled Paddle for Pink dragon boat race. Some have participated to show support for family and friends touched by breast cancer and some have participated as survivors themselves. Other members join in because it is a worthy cause and loads of fun. No matter the reason we give it our all!
		Mood Swings The Mood Swings team raced for the first time in 2009 in support of our common friend on the team who is a breast cancer survivor, as well as other women struggling with breast cancer. The team is comprised of women and teenage girls (some breast cancer survivors themselves!), and many on the team are mothers and daughters, who want to give back to a cause, where the disease has affected so many of us. We consider it a blessing to be able to race together as a team trying to win against the odds, and we look forward to racing again in 2010.
		Smoke on the Water 2010 First Place Winners
		Fitness Fun-Addicts are a team of women from Lady of America, an all woman’s gym in Franklin Park, NJ. We are paddling to support Diane Giacento, a member of our club and breast cancer survivor. Our team is made up of strong spirited, passionate woman who are committed to making fitness and wellness an everyday priority. We are empowered and honored to take part in an event that supports such a great cause, that has touched so many lives. See you on the water!
		Roosevelt Dragons 2008 Second Place Winners Roosevelt Dragon members are women from the unique town of Roosevelt and their friends. They came together for the first time last year to support their friends and relatives who have battled breast cancer. Their support made those breast cancer survivors feel good inside. The Roosevelt Dragon team is looking forward to this year's camaraderie and fun spent with friends and family, in addition to fiercely paddling their dragon boat!

		YWCA Persimmon Women The Persimmon Women team is the second YWCA Princeton/Breast Cancer Resource Center team entered in Paddle For Pink 2010. This all-women's team is made up of breast cancer survivors, YWCA and BCRC staff and board members, supporters, friends, and relatives. As a team, we are very proud to embody the YWCA Princeton's mission of empowering women, while at the same time raising awareness of breast cancer and funds to support local women and families coping with the disease.
